The QC-QEDC graphic design internship is now accepting applications for summer (5/15-6/30).

The  Queens College Graphic Design Internship Program provides a venue for interested undergraduates to participate in supervised, structured, credited, paid internships. These internships are organized to develop students’ design skills and provide on-the-job experience in their chosen field. Selected interns will work with clients of Queens Economic Development Corporation to develop branding and marketing materials.

The internship runs from 5/15 through 6/30. We will meet twice a week and students should expect to spend 10-20 hours a week on their projects. Selected interns will receive a $1200 stipend at the completion of the internship and may receive academic credit as a graphic design internship if desired.

Summer Graphic Design Internship at CBS Sports

Assist in the creation of website and banner graphics, print ads, flash motion graphics, presentations & signage for Sports Network programming, sales and special projects.

CBS Sports Network, is the 24-hour destination of CBS Sports and is in 48 million homes and available to 100 million homes nationwide. The network televises 350 live games and over 2,200 hours of original programming every year including live college football, college basketball and more from the Mountain West, Conference USA, Atlantic 10, as well as Army, Navy and the Patriot League, and Professional Bull Riding (PBR). CBS Sports Network is the home of both the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and Major League Lacrosse (MLL).

We are looking for passionate students to join our winning team during the summer 2013 season.  Interested students must be able to commit to the full summer program which runs from June through early August and be available to intern 5 days per week. This is an UNPAID, FOR-CREDIT ONLY internship program.  And, proof of credit eligibility and course enrollment from an accredited academic institution must be provided prior to start date.

Our network’s internships are professional and learning experiences.  As such, they present priceless opportunities for undergraduate students that want to learn the workings of a fast-paced, innovative, and growing cable network.

The main focus of this internship is to assist the Crafts Department in producing illustrated and digital graphics for both two and three dimensional craft projects.

Ideal skills/ areas of study:
– Rising junior or senior or advanced degree student majoring in: Illustration, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Packaging Design or other relevant majors
– Proficiency in Adobe Suite
– Strong illustration skills that can be adapted to a variety of styles
– Basic paper crafting skills

2013 MSLO Summer Internship Program:
MSLO’s 10-week Summer Internship Program will run from June 3 – August 16 and is held in New York City. It combines a full-time internship with a comprehensive Education and Entertainment Series which includes tours of the MSLO facilities and a speaker series.

Application Package should include:
Resume, cover letter and writing/design samples (if applicable).

Qualified Candidates:
Candidates should be entering their Junior or Senior year at a 4-year accredited college or university or be in an advanced degree program and must receive school credit for their internship at MSLO. Interns will receive a $20 daily stipend. Candidates should be available to intern full time. Interns will be responsible for their own travel, housing, food and personal expenses.
