Condé Nast Traveler is looking for a Junior Designer to join their team. You will work on translating monthly printed issues to the various digital formats and will work alongside a group of talented and experienced professionals.

Requirements:

• Ability to think creatively and conceptually

• Capable of working well within a dynamic, team-oriented environment

• Prior experience in editorial design is preferred, experience with digital editorial design a plus

• Fluency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience with Adobe DPS a plus

• Bachelors Degree (Graphic Design concentration preferred)

REDBOOK Magazine Graphic Design Internship

Job Description:
Redbook Magazine (Hearst Corporation) is seeking energetic graphic design students for an internship in the Art Department during the FALL/2014 semester in New York City. Candidates should be eager to learn about how the design department of a national magazine runs. Responsibilities include visual research, maintaining wall of printed layouts, minor imaging work, and editorial design projects. Candidates should be pro-active, have strong communication and organizational skills, and a strong working knowledge of CS5; particularly InDesign and Photoshop. Work will be assigned based on ability. Duration: SEPT–DEC. A commitment of 2-3 days a week is required (10am to 6pm). Most importantly, you MUST be able to receive college credit. This is an unpaid internship.
