We are currently looking for a Graphic Design intern to join the Creative Development team located in New York, NY. The ideal candidate should be a current student or recent graduate, with a diverse portfolio and strong research, problem solving, and storytelling abilities. This is a paid position.

Intern can expect to learn
As direct support to the Creative Development team, you will work closely with graphic designers, motion graphic designers, storytellers, 3D renderers, and corporate identity specialists. Specific tasks will include: product research, ideation/sketching, presentation preparation, user interface design support, branding, product graphics support, video production, and storyboarding. In addition to specific design-related tasks, you will be exposed to the rich cross-disciplinary culture of Fahrenheit 212.

Design interns assist the art department with a variety of daily tasks as well as contributing to the development of Visionaire Issues. The right candidate is interested in pushing the boundaries of art & fashion publishing through their ability to marry technical proficiency with sophisticated concepts. Design interns are expected to participate in weekly Visionaire brainstorms and manage their own projects under the direction of the art department.
Design / Creative Responsibilities:
+ Understanding of basic graphic concepts, typography, branding, book layout, and packaging
+ General understanding of 3D design concepts & Interactive design concepts
+ Creative problem solving, idea generation, adapt to change
+ Hand skills for model building and prototype development
+ Interest in Art, Fashion, Design and popular culture
+ Understanding and proficiency in Adobe InDesign
