Girls Who Code’s Strategy & Innovation team is looking for a spring/summer Experience Design Intern to design technology-based solutions that empower girls with legitimate confidence in their ability to learn computer science. The intern will be an integral part of the design process and make valuable contributions to further Girls Who Code’s effort to engage and empower young women to pursue Computer Science.


– Design technology-driven solutions (eg. web application, mobile application) that meet stakeholder needs and further the goals of the Girls Who Code community
– Use and conduct design research to inform the design and efficacy of a solution
– Balance multiple design projects within a growing, collaborative team


– Portfolio that demonstrates candidate’s strong user experience and visual design skills, ability to create wireframes and/or prototypes, and comfort designing for web and mobile environments
– Excellent communication and presentation skills and comfort providing and receiving constructive design feedback
– Proficiency within the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
– Recently completed or working towards a degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction, or related field

Woman’s Day Magazine’s publishing art department is looking to add a dynamic design intern to our team.

Responsibilities Include:
-Assist with design and layout of marketing materials, in-book advertorial pages and comps
-Prepare materials for events
-Provide general support for marketing department

-Strong design and production skills, including knowledge of typography, layout, color
-Interest in magazine promotions
-Positive attitude ­– no job too small
-Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
-Excellent attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment

Our intern has the opportunity to become intricately involved in the day-to-day activities that contribute to Woman’s Day magazine. Our inter will walk away with comprehensive knowledge of the magazine publishing industry, a wealth of experience, and a strong portfolio.


Vector is looking for a recent grad (or soon-to-be graduate) with a BA in Design (though you should feel free to apply if you’re still in school at any level and we’ll certainly consider your application and possibly meet to offer advice). You should be skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, have the ability to express your ideas in a team environment and be ready for new challenges and experiences. Familiarity with Sketch, prototyping tools or code and experience in video/motion are bonuses but not required.

Good Housekeeping Summer Art Interns

  • Good Housekeeping magazine is seeking energetic, detail-oriented art interns for Summer 2016. Interns will have the opportunity to work with the art department, the photo team, and the Creative Director to help produce visual content for the publication. This includes learning about the day-to-day activities and the workflow of the magazine, as well as assisting designers with production tasks, both big and small. Interns will have the opportunity to design pages, help reinvent existing page templates, and experiment with color and type alongside our team. The creative team at Catch needs a designer.

If you’ve got fresh ideas and are almost fresh out of school we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for help on things from top line, big ideas on integrated campaigns to filling in the little details on day-to-day projects and everything in between.

Hopefully, you’ve got some great ideas, proficiency in all things Adobe and all-around creative chops.

Summer Internship: DIGITAL DESIGN (VISUAL, UX, UI)


You may work on client and internal projects to elevate how companies and organizations communicate and engage with people. You will support the research that influences our design strategy for non-profits, startups, and impactful corporations. You will support senior designers on website design projects for diverse clients and within Madeo. You will learn more about producing projects through collaboration. You will learn about tools that help collaborations become successful.



Our office is between SoHo and the West Village in Manhattan. We’re in a collaborative building with over 200 exceptional companies, freelancers, and creative teams. There are daily talks, startup events, learning opportunities and simply an awesome environment. We treat it like our campus, where we learn, meet new people and work on projects that get us excited.



You will work directly with a more senior designer, a creative director, content strategists, a digital project manager, and other team members in a small team environment. You may also collaborate with client teams from interesting non-profits, startups, and leading companies.



— This is a Full-Time internship, but can be Part-Time depending on your availability.
