BBC Graphic Design Internship

The Graphic Design Intern will aid two departments at BBC Worldwide North America in creating visual assets. For the Communications & Events team, the intern will create graphics and design layouts for print ads, event signage and invites, and email banners. For the Audience Development team, the intern will create marketing assets (e.g. display banners) and also contribute to the features editorial team’s visual journalism efforts by creating social media 2D animations (e.g. annotated images, static infographics, etc). Must have prior experience creating graphics and solid grasp of design concepts and is comfortable working in Adobe Creative Suite. Intern may also be required to aid in special department projects as needed. Please include a sample of your design work in your application.

CBS Graphic Design Intern (Paid)

The Home Entertainment team in CBS Television Distribution (CTD) is looking for a Graphic Design intern. This intern would work with the Director of Marketing Services to assist in designing DVD covers and full packaging for TV and film products (ex: Survivor, Amazing Race, Star Trek + 150+ other titles). The intern must have a good level of attention to details. This will be an exciting opportunity for anyone with creative interests. Film & TV adds to the glamour!


  • Graphic design background; preferably pursuing a degree in Graphic Design or Fine Arts.
  • MAC platform proficient.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Photoshop and InDesign.


Graphic Design Intern-Tory Burch Foundation-Spring 2017


Started by designer Tory Burch in 2009, the Tory Burch Foundation provides access to capital, education and digital resources to empower women entrepreneurs.


  • The design intern will be responsible for creating a high quality digital experience for Tory Burch Foundation entrepreneurs.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent design aesthetic for our website, social channels, email and print.
  • Responsible for designing web, social, email and print creative assets
  • Design within brand identity for social, email and digital campaigns

  • Must be enrolled at an accredited university as a junior or senior, grad student preferred.

Graphic Design Internship Spring 2017–Mattel

Mattel is currently seeking a qualified candidate to participate in our paid Spring 2017 Internship Program within the Mattel Creations Department.

Primary Duties:
The Graphic Design Intern will be responsible for generating digital marketing creative content for  including social media assets, photography research, and website designs. Responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following:

• Work closely with team designer to develop web graphics and assets.
• Design digital assets across a range of client categories and visual styles.
• Attend and participate in weekly team meetings, as needed.
• Understand, monitor and follow team schedules to keep projects on time.
• Responsible for keeping manager updated on changes in web design/development.

Experience, Education & Skills
• Ability to transform business objectives into high quality, creative design concepts.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience in web and mobile design.
• Experience in photo retouching, preferred.
• Experience in HTML/CSS website layout or email layout, preferred.
• Working knowledge of type manipulation, photography.
• Strong aesthetic skills.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Well-developed project management skills.
• Strong communication skills with ability to work with individuals at all levels.

• Working towards a BA, BS, or BFA Degree in Graphics, Fine Arts or related degree.



Cultural Corps Academic Year Internship Fall 2017-Spring 2018

Looking for a paid internship next year? Cultural Corps Academic Year Internship

Currently enrolled students at any CUNY college interested in gaining professional experience in the arts and culture sector will participate in a 24-week part-time work experience over their fall and spring semesters. Students will receive a wage of $13/hour and work 12 hours per week. Prior to starting at their site, students will complete a pre-program training and throughout the year will participate in a cultural enrichment and development series.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be working towards a degree at a CUNY college (Community College, Senior College, or Graduate School)
  • Be registered for at least 6 credits each semester in Fall 2017 and Spring 2018
  • Have a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 2.5
  • Have earned at least 30 college credits by the end of summer 2017 (24 credits for community college students)
  • Have addressed any remedial education needs prior to beginning Fall 2017 classes
  • Be available to work part-time (12 hours/week) for a period of 24 weeks during the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 semesters
  • Have the proper work authorization required by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)
