The 2017 Computer Science Education Week will be December 4-10. The Tech Incubator will be hosting “Hour of Code” classes on campus for local k-12 students. To sign up to participate in December’s “Hour of Code” activities: https://goo.gl/forms/3yqh02uDqagHNuGl2
For anyone who is interested in participating as facilitators for these events, please consider taking the training provided by the Long Island Women in Technology. See details and signup information below:
Long Island Women in Tech runs “Hour of Code” sessions for local students throughout the year. This gives students a great head-start into learning to code.
With CS Education week coming up in December, we’ll once again be running a “How To” session to teach you how to plan and run an Hour of Code. I’ll be presenting and sharing my lessons learned after teaching over 700 kids how to code.
You won’t want to miss this!
Please review the info here and register early as we will cap the attendees at 100.
