Digital Design Intern (Paid)

Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc. designs, sources and markets a broad range of footwear, handbags, apparel and accessories under the brand names Kenneth Cole Black, New York, Reaction, and Unlisted, as well as footwear under the proprietary trademark Gentle Souls. We provide mentoring, education, and practical learning experiences for outstanding candidates interested in gaining insight into a fashion industry leader renowned for its unique New York style and social conscience.



Candidates can be freshman, sophomores, juniors or seniors in an accredited college with a history of strong academic achievements. Internships are open to postgraduates as well. Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Interns may work up to 2 days per week in the Spring/Fall Program and 3 days per week in the Summer Program. A minimum of 2 full days per week is required. Exceptions are made for Co-Op Students.



At Kenneth Cole Productions, interns receive an hourly rate of $13/hr. We work with your university to ensure you receive college credit if needed. In addition, interns have the opportunity to partake in exciting events including educational workshops, community involvement and a kick-off meeting with our founder, Kenneth Cole.

United Nations Development Programme Internship – Graphic Design (Internal Communications)

Duties And Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Director, the graphic design intern will be responsible for the following:
Support The Director In Making Internal Presentations By

  • Analyzing data for translation into charts, graphs, diagrams and infographics.
  • Translating corporate, strategic and fundraising concepts into easy-to-understand and visually appealing graphics, including data visualization, infographics, whiteboard animation, illustrations or graphics.
  • Re-adapting existing information products (e.g. charts, graphs, infographics, visual information assets) for use in internal documents and presentations catered towards UN Women staff and external stakeholders, such as donors.

Required Skills And ExperienceRequired Skills and Experience

  • BA or MA in visual communication, graphic design or similar
  • Must be enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor or Master’s degree or be a recent graduate (meaning in the last 12 months).
  • Fluent in English; Spanish and/or French are a plus.
  • Experience in graphic design, information design, white board animation and/or illustration
  • Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Curiosity for testing new ideas
  • An eye for detail and latest visual design standards
  • Familiar with the United Nations
  • Self-starter; organized; able to multitask and balance multiple responsibilities


Inkwell Marketing Summer Internship

Inkwell Global Marketing is a full service agency helping organizations to deliver their message and strengthen their brand identity using Branded Merchandise as the primary tool. Founded in 1986, Inkwell Global Marketing has grown to become one of the nation’s top promotional merchandise agencies, collaborating with several of America’s largest businesses from concept to delivery.

Intern Position:

We are looking to fill a Part-time Intern position in our New York office with a bright, creative, and ambitious Senior or recent graduate from an accredited college or university for the coming Summer months. If candidate displays strong understanding of the role and industry by end of the term, he or she will be considered for a Full-time salaried position in the Fall.

The Internship requires a minimum of 25 hours a week (ideally 4 days) for course credit with $250 stipend to be received upon completion of the 12 – 15 week internship. The program will span the length of 12-15 weeks, in conjunction with the typical Summer Semester, and will offer experience in Brand Identity Building, Sales Promotion, Sourcing & Manufacturing, Product Development, and Fulfillment and Distribution.

Marketing Development Intern Responsibilities:
Extensive product research & market analysis
Preparing proposals for client presentation
Quoting potential orders
Coordinating order placement/fulfillment with multiple factories & vendors
Tracking packages & ordering samples
Prospective client outreach via phone, email, & LinkedIn

Required Skills:
Senior or recent graduate (preferred) from accredited college or university
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Previous office experience is required
Professional and pleasant phone manner
Basic mathematics skills (Algebra – will be necessary for quoting)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Customer Service oriented; experience in Sales and/or Marketing a plus
Ability to multi-task while remaining organized
Must work well with a team, yet feel comfortable & confident working independently
Great interpersonal skills & a pleasant demeanor (we are a laid back office) and a “no-task-too-small” attitude
Ability to think creatively and out of the box
